Here is a recipe that I made to help a little girl with her pain from having scar tissue.
We have awesome products and with God's helping hand we can be whole again.
SCAR TISSUE:- 10 Helichrysum, 6 Lavender, 8 Lemongrass, 4 Patchouly, 5 Myrrh mixed with 1 oz. V-6.
I made this blend for a little 3 year old girl who had fallen out of bed and scraped her forearm just below the elbow. The scrape enlarged until her parents had to take her to a doctor. They found out that it was staph infection she had gotten at the time of birth. Antibiotics didn't help so they had to go in and scrape the bone before it would heal. From doing that it caused a lot of scar tissue and she could not bend her arm without crying out in pain. Her dad asked me what could help her and I told him I would do some research and see if I could come up with something.
I went home and studies my books and notes from Gary's classes and came up with this blend. After a week of using this blend I asked him how she was doing and he started to cry. Thank you, Thank you, she can run and play without hurting her arm now.
Well, four years ago I had a booth at the winter fair and some teenage girls stopped by and was asking about the oils and what they could do. One girl had horrible scar tissue on her neck, chest and on her forehead. She had, had surgery and the scars grew. I told her about this blend and made it up and gave it to her asking her to let me know if it worked. I never did
hear from her until this spring 2005 when I was at the winter fair again, these two girls stopped by my booth and one gal said these are the oils I was telling you about to her friend. I asked her what she knew about Young Living and she said you remember giving my friend some oil for her scars? I perked right up and said yes, how is she doing? Great! "She used the oil blend you gave her and all her scars are gone." "It's like she never had them!" WOW!!!!!

Wound from Electrocution Heals:
My neighbor works for our local power company and about 4 to 6 weeks ago he was electrocuted with 19,990 volts. Miraculously he lived, the electricity went from his left hand down the left side and blew off the top part of his left foot. After a week or two in the hospital, skin grafting etc. he was released with 100% of his skin graphs taking (another miracle). After sever weeks of recovery at home he went for another checkup and about 70% of the good skin graphs had deteriorated from the inside out and additional removal of dead tissue was preformed.
His wife was extremely concerned about him loosing his foot.
When he returned home I visited with them, studied the EODR with them looking for regenerating oils and we watched the Berry Young Juice DVD together since that was all I had. His wife ordered a bottle of NingXia Red and we decided to use Evergreen oil, Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree), Idaho Balsam Fir, Lemongrass and Marjoram oils on his good foot.
As soon as the NingXia Red arrived, she started him on once ounce a day until I mentioned a week later he really needed two to four ounces daily to rebuild and for the trauma and free radical damage.
After consuming the first bottle of NingXia Red, and using the oils, when she took him back for a check up and the nurse turned to her and ask her what she was giving him for supplementation. She mentioned the NingXia Red and told the nurse what was in it and she just said keep it
up his tissue is looking great and is healing. It had reversed from a deteriorated state to a healthier healing state.
Now that is exciting, go NingXia and YL oils, and thank you God for your medicines.

Question:
From a client--I was bitten on my lip by my friend's pitbull/boxer mix. I went to the emergency room and had about 40 stitches put in by a plastic surgeon. Do you have any suggestions about what oils if any, I could use on my lip to help with scarring (use EODR blends for reducing
scarring-OK for lip?)and healing of tissue. Has anyone any recommendations? Thanks.
Weeeeellllllll Let's see (zippppppppp opening my Oil case)
Depending on where on your lip (some of these may not taste too good) that your wound is I would start with Lavender, geranium, and rose ointment to heal the wound and scar... In the beginning just the lavender until the wound heals enough to prevent infection, then apply the others when it is less inflamed....
Be well and please tell your client to stop trying to kiss strange dogs

Whoo wee girl!
Sounds like this person would need oils for the emotional trauma too.
Anyways, two things here. I love Melrose for little and big boo boos.I have saved thousands of dollars in emergency room trips with this oil.
But I'm gonna back up here a minute to what Frank said about lavender. I used lavender instead of Melrose about four years ago when my then two year old daughter fell down a flight of concrete steps and knocked a dime sized hole in her forehead. Yes, the lavender kept it from getting infected, but she has a good size scar from it. I know A LOT of people have used lavender to prevent scarring; I am puzzled by this because it has never been the case in our family. Being a thinker, I wonder what proteins are missing in our family's skin, collagen, etc. that keeps us from repairing the way we should.
I have sense switched to Melrose for my anti-infectious, fast repairing, anti-scarring oil. It's cheap, it doesn't sting in an open wound, and keeps a wound from itching while it is healing. I have a million testimonies about this oil for boo boos and scars, but I'll give you a snippet of our
most recent and most severe emergency. (I have six kids--there's always an emergency).
Okay, my eldest was trying to lock her sister out of the back door when thering finger on her right hand was caught in the closing door. The injury ripped off her skin, the surface of her nerve endings, and the ends of her blood vessels.
I stopped the bleeding instantaneously with Frankincense. The smell of Frankincense brought her out of shock too. I drowned her finger in Melrose, gauzed and taped it. She laid down on the couch in pain. PanAway and Peppermint brought her pain level from a 20 to a 10. (Later bought Valarian after remembering Rual's story). The nerve was damaged so severly that her
finger twitched consistently every second.
To make a long story short (this whole story will later be on www.oil-testimonials.com
with pictures on OILS AR US for you to share), after three weeks of the following regimen, everything completely healed including the nerves.
Three times a day she got:
3 Super Cal (for parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, nerve regeneration)two drops of Melrose, with one drop of peppermint directly in the wound. generous amount of Animal Scents Ointment to seal in the oils, keep them from evaporating, and preventing scabbing
(which prevents scars) This also contains anti-bacterial and anti-infectious properties. All covered with gauzed and taped closed.
The skin showed two tiny new grafts by day two, and the nerve quit twitching by day three. On day four, I was hosting a "YOU DON'T CATCH CANCER" YL meeting and showed my guests her healing finger. A pharmacist and two nurses couldn't believe how great it looked. The wound never seeped, it never bruised, and it never scabbed.
I never got over the guilt of how much pain she suffered though. The PanAway just wasn't enough. I figured, if Rual could get out of the hospital the day after he collapsed a lung, broke 18 ribs in 23 places, lacerated his elbow and damaged his knee by using Valarian (and another V oil I can't remember by name), then I wanted this in my medicine cabinet for my babies. I ordered it right away.
Sure enough, this same child closed the exact same finger in the door while trying to keep her brother outside. Her pain level was just as intense. She was in shock again. I put ONE drop of Valarian on her finger and literally in five seconds her breathing slowed, she stopped screaming, she relaxed her finger and just stared at it wondering if it was going to begin hurting again.
We both just stared at it for about ten minutes waiting for it to do something. Nothing!
I was so grateful we had this oil at that time. Just a few days later, this same child got the worst poison ivy reaction ever on her face which spread to her neck. Valarian by capsule helped with the pain!!
Okay, so after all this, I hope you found some oils that will "feel right" in your friend's situation. The oils work differently in each person's body. Like our lack of proteins in DNA repair. Intuition with the oils is your first best resource after studying the oils.
I love everyone's comments here and I love Frank for moderating this group. I know this takes a lot of time from his schedule. I crave knowledge. The training tapes, your posts, and oil-testimonials.com have helped me raise these babies chemical free. I have been able to build a great group with the same beliefs here in Little Rock. Thank you for your testimonies.
Love, Tiffany
a child of God, not the FDA
Tiffany the other V oil is Vetiver. So you would use 1/2 Valerian and 1/2 Vetiver in a cap.
