Great Recipes using YL Essential Oils

Cucumber Herb Spread - - - great on pita bread, crackers, veggies
1 pkg (8 oz) Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese (vegen) or Philly Cream Cheese (non vegen)
1 C finely chopped cucumbers or zucchini or both!
1-2 drops of Young Living Dill Essential Oil
3-4 drops of Young Living Lemon Essential Oil
¼ tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
¼ tsp minced garlic

Be creative! Add chopped red, orange and yellow pepper for color, add cayenne pepper for a zip, add finely chopped raw green beans, onion or carrot
Mix ingredients together, cover and refrigerate for several hours to let flavors enhance and come together.

Creamy Cheese Sauce - - - can be used in burritos, as nacho sauce, for broccoli dipping, over asparagus, on potatoe, wherever you want a cheese sauce - - This is a VEGEN recipe
1 C water
¾ C raw cashews
3 T sesame tahini
1-1/2 tsp sea salt
4 tbsp yeast flakes
2 tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
1-2 drops Young Living Dill Essential Oil
½ C chopped red pepper
3-4 tbsp fresh squeezed lemon juice

Blend all together until creamy smooth and orange in color (from red pepper). Put on heat (stove, fondue pot) and serve with dipping forks or spoon over dish as desired.

Marinated Grilled Sweet Potatoes - - - these are an awesome change from white potatoes!
Prepare grill with an even heat, letting coals burn down to white hot or heating gas grill on high and then down to low so as not to burn the potato slices. Cut sweet potatoes slices 3/8 inch thick - - thicker and they won’t get done and thinner and they will char quickly (cut them as close to 3/8 as possible).
Prepare the marinade:
1 tsp lime zest
3 tbsp lime juice
¼ C extra virgin olive oil
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
2 cloves minced garlic
1-3 drops Young Living Lemon Essential Oil
Sea salt to taste
Put potato slices in marinade. They are not going to soak it up like a meat would so don’t worry about time length, just coat. Using slotted spoon, transfer slices to grill grate. Turn occasionally and watch them! Baste with the remaining marinade.
Chop up 1 red bell pepper, some scallions, have ready 3 tbsp orange, mango or pineapple juice.
When the potatoes are ready to serve, brush juice of choice on, sprinkle on red pepper pieces and scallions. Serve and enjoy!
