Headaches and Migraines
By: Artemis
Jan writes: This last Saturday, I had a migraine. They usually last for 3 days to the point that I think I’m going to die. I’ve used enzymes, peppermint oil, and a host of other things and nothing has worked for me. This time, after much prayer, I began to notice that my stomach did not feel right. Then the idea kept coming to my mind to try Di-gize. After it came to mind over and over during the day, I finally began to think, maybe this is God speaking. So I put 6 drops of Di-gize in an empty capsule and took it; the migraine started going away within minutes and after a couple of hours, was completely gone. The next day the idea kept coming to my mind to look in the Essential Oils Desk Reference under migraine headaches and see if Di-gize was listed. So I looked and Di-gize was NOT listedjust as I had thought. The very first sentence said, “The vast majority of migraine headaches may be due to colon congestion or poor digestion.” Did I never read that before and just go straight to the list of recommendations? I don’t know how I missed that sentence, but I know how bad migraines are and I want everyone that has them or knows someone who does to consider trying Di-gize. If your stomach is what is causing you or someone you love to have a migraine, a bottle of Di-gize is a very low price to pay for relief—considering how many drops are in a bottle it is economical too. I truly, truly hope this email helps a fellow suffer. (Reproduced with permission from the Sha-Faun bulletin)
Artemis adds: I have another really good recipe for headaches, and I've used it in many of my classes with excellent results. I put 3 to 5 drops of Valor oil on the back of the neck, then 1 drop of Lavender oil on the temples, and a drop of Peppermint oil on the palms. Rub both palms together, cup them over the mouth (not too close - you don't want to get peppermint oil on your face as it will be too strong), close your eyes (so the peppermint "fumes" don't make your eyes water), and breathe deeply for 5 minutes. This has helped reduce most people's headaches. However, it doesn't work on my own headaches, and I put that down to the fact that headaches can have many different causes—digestion, neck misalignment, hormonal imbalance, etc. I find that Di-gize (as mentioned above) is more effective on my headaches. So it's really just a case of experimenting to find out what works best for you.
Don't expect the same results unless you are using Young Living Therapeutic grade essential oils and supplements. Also each person is different so they may not work as well for you as it does for others so try another oil or supplement that would work better for you.
