Convention 2010:  The One Gift

Over 5000 guests are reported to have attended this years convention whle we were educated on the details of the source of our Frankincense oil and the research being conducted.   For many years D. Gary Young has been researching and traveling to the arabian peninsula, the origins of this most precious oil.   Guests were treated to a free viewing of a nearly two hour showing of a documentary film on Frankincense and the infamous camel caravns and trail accross the forbidden zone in the empty quarter. 

Why is this oil so valuable?  it is historically reporteded to "cure every concivable ill, from a broken head to gout in the toes".  The most prized and valued of the Frankincense is from the trees that grow in the country of Oman called Hojari from the genus Boswellia Sacra.   Only the third cutting produces the best resin.   If the resin is left and collected at a later date, it loses its preceious constituents and its healing power leaving it at best  to produce a perfume grade oil.   We were shown documentation on this process.  Only one who is educated in the selection of the purest resin will be able to know the source of thier oil. 

The various regions where Frankincense grows will produce different quality oil due to the change in climate and elevation.   Frankincense Sacra is also very difficult to obtain because  of the rugged terain where it grows.  For the first time ever,  the country of Oman and Young Living have arranged to export this highly prized essential oil.
